PEI Aerial Sunrise
I don’t make it out for a lot of sunrises, but the beauty of staying on the ocean in Prince Edward Island in March is that it actually becomes pretty easy. Particularly when the drone can do most of the walking for you.

It had been awhile since I’d made a dedicated trip out for some golden hour photography, and sunrise is still reasonably late so I managed to drag myself out of bed at 6am to head a few minutes away from home. Forecast was for a mix of sun and cloud, about as good as you could hope for so I figured it was worth the gamble. I was hoping for sun coming in under the cloud cover, but things ended up a little reversed. With a little patience though things got a little bit interesting and managed to get a few shots I liked. ...
Great light was just ending as I got there but still snuck in a few nice shots before things got too harsh. Particularly love the gnarly tree from below I found at one point above the trail.
