Most of these taken with my new FujiFilm XF 23mm f/2 which I’m enjoying the bump in sharpness, and the focal length which matches a lot of my favorite shots. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but the next day I was quite happy with the composition of the shot of the rocks at the point of Cape Forchu. This could be epic with a sunset redo and I might have to make the effort to get down there for it some morning when I’m in the area. ...
This was an event with the local camera club I’d been looking forward to for a long time, but ended up being a little more complicated than I’d hoped. It wasn’t particularly cold but was blowing so hard the windchill became a pretty major factor. Ended up being too cold to think straight and I had a hard time focusing. None the less, found a few images I liked especially once the sun was down and we got into blue hour. ...

With a storm coming through during the night, conditions looked interesting for sunrise out at Peggy’s Cove, cloud transitioning to sun, and the swell expected to be somewhere in the 7-10 foot range. I decided to haul myself out of bed at 5:30am and try to be there to see if something would happen.
