Scenes from Cape Forchu

Most of these taken with my new FujiFilm XF 23mm f/2 which I’m enjoying the bump in sharpness, and the focal length which matches a lot of my favorite shots. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but the next day I was quite happy with the composition of the shot of the rocks at the point of Cape Forchu. This could be epic with a sunset redo and I might have to make the effort to get down there for it some morning when I’m in the area. ...

Sunrise After The Storm

With a storm coming through during the night, conditions looked interesting for sunrise out at Peggy’s Cove, cloud transitioning to sun, and the swell expected to be somewhere in the 7-10 foot range. I decided to haul myself out of bed at 5:30am and try to be there to see if something would happen.
