A couple shots from a February walk around Peggy’s Cove. The boats photo credit goes to my wife who spotted the repeating colors in groups of three. Color mostly provided by Fujifilm Classic Negative.

We had a very brief 24 hour cold snap this February, beyond anything in recent memory. I decided to see if I could brave the conditions and capture how things look at sunrise when it’s -40. These were shot very quickly, and without being able to fully see as my eyes were constantly watering, and ice was building up on my glasses and camera display. The sun didn’t cooperate either but I still really loved the result. The sea smoke coming off the -4 C harbour was absolutely wild. ...
